Dana Poor


Dana Smith Poor, owner of Boxtree Designs Inc., is based in Marietta, Georgia specializing in residential and commercial remodeling and design.  She is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Fashion Design/Production and has been in the design industry for 16 years.  She began her career in New York City in the field of Color Forecasting spending the majority of her time traveling overseas and consulting large companies worldwide on the trends for Home Textiles and Interiors. In 2006 HFN, a leading textile trade publication, voted her one of the Top 50 most influential people in the home industry.  She has been quoted in major publications worldwide about trends and color and textiles most notable Real Simple and The Wall Street Journal and even sat down with the ladies on "The View" in 2006.  When she started a family, Dana and her husband moved back to Marietta and Boxtree Designs Inc. was born.  Remodeling, space planning, store concept implementation, fine art, and contemporary design are her passions and her business has continued to grow over the past 10 years.
